Gemstone Publishing and Walt Disney are teaming up to republish classic monthly and bi-monthly Disney comic books, the companies said today.
The monthly comics Walt Disney Comics and Stories and Uncle Scrooge will go on sale this week, carrying a retail price of $6.95. The bi-monthly Donald Duck Adventures will debut in July for $7.95, and the Donald Duck and Friends and Mickey Mouse and Friends will go on sale in September for $2.95.
The titles will be available through both major booksellers and specialty stores. They will also be available through subscription at Gemstone's website.

The republished books will contain the work of such Disney artists as Patrick Block, Daniel Branca, Daan Jippes, Don Rosa, Noel Van Horn, William Van Horn, and Carl Barks.
