After Eisner toured and saw the disrepair maybe he will visit more often and give the park a "Hands On" inspection. Since Eisner was neglecting touring the park I guess everyone else thought they could neglect it too. Many things have gotten a little worn on the edges but Disneyland still hasn't lost its charm.
