I know it was a Diseny movie but why is Lilo and Stich such a staple at Disney? Lilo and Stitch are right up there with Mickey.

I remember when I saw the previews for the Lilo and Stitch movie, I honestly thought it was going to be horrible! However after watching the movies... yes the movieS and the show, I have come to love Lilo and Stitch just as much as any other character. I mean... he is cute AND fluffy.

The movie is all about family (Ohana...you know how the quote goes... ) and it makes it easy to blend into such a family-oriented business like Disney. I love the movies and even sit and watch the cartoon on DisneyChannel with my kids, but I'm no fan of the 'Great Escape' at WDW...

OK. Stitch's Great Escape was a real letdown for me. I LOVE Stitch. I got more Stitch souveniers than any other character. But the show .... I'm sorry to say, it's just bad. You just need to understand Stitch. He was programmed to be a destroyer, but learned how to love and care .... OHANA

At first I wasn't sure about Lilo and Stitch...but we just love them now! My daughter even had a Lilo and Stitch Luau for her birthday party last year!

Like the others have said its all about "ohana".

oh lilo and stitch is one of my favorite movies along with the little mermaid he is just so cute i get so excited when i go to the disney store and i find something lilo and stitch i run right to it like a 5 year old
