Make-A-Wish finally granted but have questions. - Talk Disney Vacation Planning Information

hey everyone my names misty im 30 yrs old and a mother of two awesome kids, marrissa the wish girl is 12 and her brother dylan is 8
marrissa was born with charge syndrome and has had about 17 surgeries so far.
our second attempt with make a wish and it was finally granted yay she is so excited but very very anxious, she asks daily when are we going, which is my question, can anyone tell me the time frame from when the wish is granted until we go on our trip??
they havent called us with dates so i was just curious.
and any other tips is great too!!!

I think the length of the time frame can vary. Hopefully the trip can be booked soon. And if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Welcome to TD. Congrats on getting a wish come true!

I do not have any information regarding the wishes, I would only ask is there any contact information that was given to you? Perhaps they could at least give you some sort of time frame for planning purposes on your end.

I know you will have a wonderful time, you and your lovely family.

Only person we know is the wish granter Jennifer welch in Houston, but Ive already tried to email her to see if she could give me a time frame about a week ago and not a word yet
when she did grant it and had the paper work she said the papers were going to the Disney coordinator. im just hoping its not going to be a 3 mth wait, marrissa will go insane!!! lol

thanks so much to the both of you for responding, i guess one more question would be the plane is it a disney plane or continental??

That is understandable. I would go insane too.

The plane would be a normal airline.
