| Re: 2 year 10 month old in Oceaneer Club?
You can call the cruise line (1-800-951-3532) and talk to them, but I think they will likely have your child stay at Flounder's Reef, which runs about $5 an hour. They are pretty specific in stating that Flounder's Reef is for children up to 36 months and your child MUST be potty trained to participate in the Oceaneer Club. If they are not flexible about your son's age, I would suggest waiting until he's 3 to cruise. My daughter was 9 when we went on our cruise last year and she really enjoyed the children's program and wanted to participate several hours per day.
In order to save money and let your son have his pick of activities, I would definitely wait to cruise until he's old enough for Oceaneer's.
You can also save tons of money by booking your cruise during Sep/Oct. Last year we went the 2nd week of Sep and I thought my kids might be some of the only ones on board. There were around 1,800 kids on the ship!
Hope this helped. Good luck!
