I would like to view the ruins but I can't decide which one would be best. Can anyone give me advice? Do I need to spend the time and money to do the longer trip to the mainland to view those or is the one that is right in Cozumel a good trip too?
Favorite Park: Can't pick just one park, but I love the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Favorite Attraction: Tower of Terror

Re: Help me pick excursions in Cozumel please!
Whatever you do, don't walk around the port area. Get in a cab and drive far, far away! My husband and I were very disappointed with the area. The next time around we're not even getting off the boat!
i have never been to cozmel but there is a small island just off shore, isle of marada (check spelling). if you have time for the ferry to get there it is great. i will be back there next year (sailboat race).

In 2004 we did the snorkelling from the beach trip, which was the very first time I have ever snorkelled. I know its not the ruins, but I would definitely recommend this trip for first time snorkellers. The guides were very patient and kind to me.
However this year I quite fancy the ruins myself but the family are not so keen. If you look on °°°°°°°.net there is a great unofficial guide to Disney Cruise Line, and this has lots of information about the trips.
I agree with the above comments about Cozumel. I found the port itself quite disappointing. There were lots of jewellery shops so if that is your thing then enjoy, but otherwise there is not a lot to do or see. However, we did find a bar selling Corona beer for 99 cents!!!
