Hello...I am also new to TalkDisney.com. My question is about Palo dining. Our DC is the land sea adventure, departing May 6th for 4 nights. We have 4 children 13,11,4 and 1....If we book a meal at Palo, do we forfeit our rotation that evening at our reguarlly scheduled dining experience?....and if we do....What can we do for our children that evening for diner??? Thanks so Much
Hi and welcome to Talk Disney. When we booked our reservation at Palo's we did end up missing that night at our scheduled dining. Maybe you could do the first three nights on the rotation to get to experience all the dining experiences once and book Palo for your last night. The food is awesome! Of course the food on the entire trip was awesome, but we did enjoy Palo's and will do it again on our next voyage. As far as the kids go I have no idea. I know that the kids were pretty involved in activities without their parents on our last cruise, but I don't know if they have things during meal time for the kids (I'm guessing they probably do). I don't have any kids myself but I'm sure someone here knows and will help you out with that part. Have fun planning your trip.

Thanks for your response....Just by chance, we happened to book a seating for Palo's on our 4th night...so..it looks as if we will not miss any of our dining experiences.. Thanks .. We are having fun planning....This is our first DC and I tend to overdo the details (according to my husband) but I hope it is all worth it...

Hi there! Congratulations on your forthcoming cruise. I do know that the Kids clubs organise food for the children if they are at the club (I think its usually Pizza etc) so if your children are in the kids club they will be okay. Also, apart from the rotational dining there is also buffet dining available so perhaps your older children may be able to look after themselves for a while. Alternatively, there is plenty of food available all the time so you could always feed them before you head of to Palo's. I am sure it will all work itself out.
Have a great time!
