Any suggestions on staying in Port Canaveral

Were thinking of staying in POrt Canaveral the night before the cruise. Any suggestions. We would like to find somewhere with cruise parking.

Re: Any suggestions on staying in Port Canaveral

Well I'm not sure if they have cruise parking, but the Radisson is just about 1 or 2 miles away. They do have a shuttle service to the cuise ships as well. I would call them to find out about leaving your car there well on the cruise. Another option would be if your renting your car you could return it out there and pickup another when you return from your cruise.

If you need a bit more room the country inn and suitesis in the same area, as well as the Marriott Residence Inn. If your looking for a beachfront hotel the only one close to the cruise terminal is Ron Jons but it is the most expensive of all.

Re: Any suggestions on staying in Port Canaveral

My husband, daughter and I took a Disney Cruise Oct. 20-27, 2007 and we stayed at the Radisson near the Port the night before the cruise. It is a great hotel and they have a package that includes cruise parking. Last October it cost approximately $169 for 1 night for a King suite room and this included 7 days of parking for our cruise. I'm not sure if the price is still the same but I'm sure it's still reasonable considering parking at the port is now $15.00 per day. I believe they have other rooms also that also have the cruise parking package. Have a wonderful cruise!!!

P.S. The Radisson also provided a free shuttle to the ship and back. You just have to reserve the shuttle to the ship ahead of time.

I am a fan of the Country Inn and Suites. They have a very clean hotel, easily accessible and the pool is great for relaxing. Breakfast is included which is hot and cold food, plus the shuttle to the port and option of leaving your car!
