I had to do a delivery on the way home from the office to one of our Architects thats located just inside Port Everglades. Not past security but just inside the first set of gates. (Port Everglades is alot tighter on security than what I have seen at Port Canaveral, this is due to the large amount of gasoline and fuel stored at the port) So I go and do my delivery up on the 5th floor and then come back down and start my drive home. Coming up and over the one bridge I happened to look back towards the port and thought I saw 3 red stacks. I looked again and I did, one Celebrity and the other 2 had MOUSE EARS on them! I did a double take. Came home and my wife and daughter were pulling in the driveway right behind me. I told them we needed to pack our bags right now as the Disney Wonder came to pick us up and was in Port Everglades. Of course my 9 yr old doesnt believe me. We get back in my car and I take her over to the State Park so we can see the Wonder. They wanted $5.00 to get in the park. I said even for a few minutes to take photos of the Disney Wonder? $5.00 was her reply. Which I said, I will save my $5.00 for my next cruise and turn around. But my daughter did get to see the ship from a distance. Its so cool to see it here even if its based north of us. Wish we could at least go say hello to our wait staff.
