Disney World: After Thanksgiving and Before Christmas?
DH just booked our next Disney trip for the last week in November/first week in December (the two of us and the kids - ages 14, 12, 12 and 9). Since we've haven't been there in three years and never during the holiday season I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on what to do, what not to do and what should absolutely not be missed.
Thanks!
Claudine

There is so much. We went for the first time last December. Osborne dancing lights in HS. is a must, MVMCP in MK, take some time to visit all the decorations at the resorts, I could go on and on. Candlelight procession in Epcot. I'd you go to Disney website there is lots of info there.

Re: Disney World: After Thanksgiving and Before Christmas?
If you can go to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There is an extra charge for that. Don't miss Epcot. Each of the countries has a 15 min show about Christmas/New Year in their country. My daughter and I stumbled upon it when we visited in 2009. In China, the Monkey King told us about the Chinese New Year; in Italy we caught up with the Christmas witch; and in Canada Father Nowell told us a Canadian Christmas story. It was very neat.
Also, the weather can change in a heartbeat. On two of our December trips, the weather turned freezing and we were happy to have our winter coats and hats and gloves with us.
If I didn't have to pull my daughter out of school, I would go every December. The best time is the first two weeks in December.

Thanks! I'm going to disney the week after Thanksgiving and being that I am a huge fan of everything Christmas, that post made me even more excited about my upcoming trip.
