My husband gave the go ahead for tickets for the Christmas celebration. We were planning to have dinner at Tonys that night because we are spending the day in the park. Do we need to leave and come back?
Also..we would be buying tickets for the first night (11/9). Is everything going to be running that first night?

We are also going on the 9th
I assume they have everything running
You don't have to leave and come back. I don't know exactly how it works, if you get a bracelet or something (that used to be if I remember correctly, we also got bracelets in DLP with the MNSSHP) Please correct me if I'm wrong
Looking forward to our Disney vacations

I read somewhere that you can get in early with your MNSSHP ticket. Is this officially correct. We are not going into the parks that day, but would love to go to e MK earlier than 7pm.

I believe officially at 4pm you can get in with your MNSSHP ticket. I have heard some have gotten in earlier, but I am sure it all depends on the CMs at the gate. If I am incorrect on this someone please correct me!

If we do go to MNSSHP, it will be 9/18. Will people be dressing up that early in the Halloween season? I've never been to WDW that time of year so I have no idea what to expect

If memory serves, you could get into the park as early as 4p, and those without MNSSHP tickets had to leave by 7p.
Hopefully I have remember correctly.

We went last year and you can stay in the park if you are there. Just produce your Very Merry Christmas party ticket to guest services in the park and they will give you a bracelet to wear. What happens is those people who don't have the bracelet will be kindly escorted out. The cast members just ask to see your wrist bracelet.

Do the parties sell out ahead of time? We want to go, but don't want to commit to a date right now. We're going to WDW in mid-October.
Last year we got MVMCP tickets one day in advance.

Wahoo, now I could start even more planning for our Dec trip. Tonight going to discuss with DH on what nights to do the MVMCP, then will be ordering the tickets this weekend. He suggested maybe doing two parties, as this time we will have our DD5 with us, and if she gets tired, she may miss half of the party, so double up on the party, just in case. While we are there the party will happen 8 of the nights, so plenty of dates to choose from.

They were still selling tickets for the MVMCP at the park the day of the event, but I think if you purchase them earlier they are cheaper.
Also my little ones (age 4 and 6 spent the day at the park). I don't suggest doing the park during the day and any of the parties at night together. My kids were out by 9 pm from all of the excitement at the park during the day. Just spend the day around the hotel and rest up.

Hmm....I was going to go after a day in magic kingdom. Maybe I will go on our Animal Kingdom day since I expect that to be an earlier day.
