Kingdom Hearts is DEFINATELY worth trying!! If you like RPG's this is amazing! The second one dosent compare. It does not allow you to do half as much as the 1st one.

Re: What are your favorite Disney Video Games?

I am into RPG, since I got the chance to buy myself a games console for the first time. I have all the KH series, including "Chain of Memories" for the DS. I wonder if there will be an English version of the Final Mix+ of KH2. I know that the Japanese version has come out and I want to know how much of a difference there is between that and the original KH2 game.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&camp=1789&tag=tinksentertai nme&creative=9325&path=http://www.amazon.com/Square-Enix-662248902012-Kingdom-Hearts/dp/B000066TS5[/url]

And I dont know if I'll be getting the new Pirates of the Caribbean game, just not that much into roll playing games lol but it does look cool though.

You will want to see this link of many from the eBay website:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/PS2-KINGDOM-HEARTS-II-2-FINAL-MIX-MIX-IMPORT-NEW-JAP_W0QQitemZ230139905772QQihZ013QQcategoryZ62053Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

In essence, it is the "director's cut" of the whole Kingdom Hearts II PS2 game. There are scenes and other play features, I believe, that one couldn't do or see before in the "original Kingdom Hearts 2" game. It seems to have the "re-vamped" version of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories game that was originially meant for the Nintendo DS or GBA, too. There is one problem that I may have seen here: you have to get the Japanese/Asian version of the PS2 console, in order to play this particular game.

By the way, this is just one example of many here. By the time you get to see this one, the time to get it will expire. But, there are quite a few of them available now in eBay that you can go over the other ones for yourself.

Kingdom Hearts is a set of TWO video console RPG (Role-Playing) games for mostly the Sony Playstation 2 console at this time. They are jointly made by Disney and Square Enix (makers of the Final Fantasy series) so far. There is one game, called the "Chain of Memories" that was made for the Nintendo DS or GBA. This one takes place in between the first and second KH game. By the way, there are two language versions of the video game: the original JAPANESE version and the English version.

SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER! (for those who haven't seen or played the game yet):
To make the story short, it revolves around one the main human characters named Sora. He is given the power (a weapon called the keyblade) to travel to locations mostly of the recent and past Disney-made cartoons and films. There are a couple of non-Disney locales that he goes to as well. And, yes, he gets to have Goofy and Donald Duck as his main fighting partners along the way to fight various enemies of many sizes and power. Goofy is the "soldier" who has a shield as his main weapon; Donald is the wizard who uses his magical staff to assist Sora. Most of all, Mickey Mouse is the "king" of the entire game's realm. All the various scenes from the different movies and cartoons, Disney and others alike, are the "worlds" within this overall realm in which Mickey is the "main leader" to some degree.

The greatest part to me here is that the producers of the KH series' English version try to get ALL of the original voice actors of the various Disney characters and the like of the past and present to do their part for it as best as they can. When they couldn't get the original actor to play the part, they had a substitute to do it.

Anyway, the rumors of how the third installment of the Kingdom Hearts series is now underway and furious. From what I know so far, it may not be "KH III" in a way. From what I hear, however, it could involve "new characters" and so-called "new plots." The hints can be found in YouTube, compliments of the "secret endings" of KH 2 and KH 2 Final Mix PLUS that some players manage to get by finishing the game at certain game player levels and uploading them there.

How many of these KH games there will be in the end is very much in speculation right now. The Japanese producers are rumored to have said that it could rival Final Fantasy, in terms of the number of them. Personally, I doubt that, but stranger things have happened before. Also, some die-hard gamers are saying that the Playstation THREE console could get the next KH games, if there is the demand for them to be there. Otherwise, they will stick with PS2 in this case.

Wink Re: What are your favorite Disney Video Games?

Unbelievable! I have found a YouTube clip of many about the Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + video game! If you have seen a particular secret ending to what could be a possible THIRD installment of the Kingdom Hearts series, then you got to see this one for yourselves.

Try seeing this: Sora gets to fly like Neo of the Matrix movies! There's more: you get to fight against one of those knights of the Keyblade Wars of the possible Kingdom Hearts THREE!

Link 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0bhzvb1cBE

Link 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs-VdL9i86o

Now, I cannot believe I missed this Kingdom Hearts video game. If you thought, just I did until yesterday, that Kingdom Hearts 2 had a "director's cut" Final Mix, then you are in for a big surprise.

There is a "director's cut" for the first Kingdom Hearts game as well!! You are probably thinking that I am going insane here and there is no such thing. Well, here is proof that it exists. First, this link to an eBay page from someone willing to sell his/her first Kingdom Hearts Final Mix game:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/PS2-Kingdom-Heart-Final-Mix-Import-Japanese-Japan_W0QQitemZ300125153530QQihZ020QQcategoryZ6205 3QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Second, a spoiler: a YouTube clip of the young and inexperienced Sora fighting against an unknown member of Organization XIII. It turns out to be Xemnas using "Star Wars lightsabers", Darth Maul style, to test Sora's resolve and power. The clip is originally copied by the people of KH-Vids.Net. They made a specialized website that talks about the KH franchise and they managed to upload all the video clips that can be seen from all the Kingdom Hearts games ever made so far.

Link: h ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp7wu1qzy9A

Remember, this Kingdom Hearts takes place before the Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2 games. Also, just like the Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix PLUS, you need to have the Japanese/Asian version of the Playstation 2 console, in order to play this version properly or at all.

Thumbs up Re: What are your favorite Disney Video Games?

Well, I got myself a Final Mix version of the FIRST Kingdom Hearts game. However, I am going to have to find out, if my console is the proper one. If not, then I may have to get the Japanese version of the PS2 console. In time, I will get myself the Final Mix version of KH2 as well.

Anyway, I know that I should stop harassing you guys with YouTube spoilers here, but I wanted to let you guys see how the beginning and ending scenes of that Keyblade Wars fight looks like in the KH2 Final Mix game. Most of all, talk about Goofy and Donald really getting themselves involved in the fight, especially when they defend themselves! Goofy flies like a tornado and swings his shield into a formidable weapon with lightning! Go Goofy Go! Donald really uses his offensive magic against the enemy, too. And, of course, Sora and his flying again and, in the second link from another person, he becomes the ultimate fighter using TWO KEYBLADES and goes all-out like a "possessed angel."

Link 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QpusghRO5I

Oh, by the way, the same guy that uploaded the first link above did a repeat of the beginning scenes because he wanted to show everyone what it really looked like IN FULL. Of course, he wanted to show how tough this knight really was, since it is an option to fight him.

Unhappy Re: What are your favorite Disney Video Games?

Well, I have finally found out that there will not be "an English version" of the TWO final mixes of the Kingdom Hearts RPG video games. So, you may want to read my previous messages about them. That means, in some ways, there will be some plots "missing" from the two English-translated ones from the Japanese ones.

Re: What are your favorite Disney Video Games?

Just came by to comment here that TWO (2) more NEW Kingdom Hearts games will be coming soon to North America for this year and 2009. It is still speculative, but it is pretty much safe to say that they will be coming out as follows.

1. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) at around 2009; and,
2. Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS/Lite at around mid-to-late 2008.

However, Japan will be exclusively the only one that will have a Kingdom Hearts games specifically made for them for the mobile phone. It will be called "Kingdom Hearts: Coded. From looking at the still screen pictures of it, I am guessing that the game's story arc deals with the "unknown journey of Mickey Mouse", during the time he (King Mickey) disappeared in the first Kingdom Hearts game.
