Wow, a Pal Mickey sounds like FUN for kids. Too bad they don't have one for Disneyland. I would love to have one someday for my kids.

Sorry Rick, but you CAN'T rent him anymore. They found that not enough people were renting him. More Guests wanted to purchase him so they could carry a little of the magic home with them. So, they discontinued the renting program and continued with the purchasing program.

I just bought one a couple of days ago for our upcoming trip, my ds hasn't seen it yet, but my dh loves it!!!! LOL

He's really cute, and he is funny........... I know my ds will love him!!! By the way, I got him on Ebay............ for about half the price he would've been in the park!!! He's brand new, still in the box............ it is an alternative if you don't want to pay full price!!! I cannot wait for ds to use him!!!!

we are back and had a fab time. i don't know whether you will get a new tie but if you have a child with an angel face that can look sooooo upset that you lost it, you may find someone to feel sorry for them!!! that's how we got the new clip, my son said he loved having Mickey hanging from his shorts and he would not be able to do that anymore.

I want to get Pal Mickey at the world (T minus 15 days)

and was wondering if anyone had input about it? I can't imagine it would be a waste of money (How much is it??) But maybe some think it is. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance

I have merged this thread to an existing one. I know that this thread is a bit old, but it does give reviews.

I would also suggest trying a search in this forum only. I found quite a few threads.

I love Pal Mickey, I don't have kids so I'm probably too old to have one, but hey who cares! He's disney and he's fun!

I have the old one and the celebration one, and they're both great, on our last trip, I bought him some new clothes !!! He posed in every photo with me as well!!!

My 7 year old loves the pal Mickey! He wore it everyday our past trip. We have PAl Mickey hanging from a Pin lanyard, it seemd to work fine.

Is Pal Mickey worth the money? I think it sounds really cool but I dont know if I have forgotten that my kids are 2 & 4 and now am planning for myself.. hahah! Do you think they are too young to enjoy him?

My son & his family went to WDW a year ago and I asked him to get one for me. My grandson had a great time holding it for grandma. I am going in a few weeks and plan to take pal mickey with me. I already told the other grown ups that Pal Mickey will be escorting us around. I can hardly wait. To be on the safe side, my daughter and her family are coming and if I do feel awkward, I can pretend that I am carrying it around for one ofmy grandchildren. But what the hay, we are in Disneyworld.

I read about this quite a few times and it's surprising the nmber of people who buy Pal Mickey's and then, because either they don't want to carry it around or the feel self conscious, rip out the inside workings (the bits that make him speak etc) and carry them round.

Always amuses me! As you say, it's Disney! No-one cares if you walk round with huge black ears on your head so why would anyone need to feel awkward about carrying a Pal Mickey!

Poor Mickey. How could anyone rip him out!
He seems fun, but I don't really know if I want something jabbering well-known information about the parks... I'm also not a big fan of carrying him around. He's not LARGE, but maybe he would pose a problem. I'm debating if I should get one or not, but if I do, it will definetley be on e-bay. How much are they in the park again? $40-50?
