I am so excited I got a brand new Disney monorail set with extra track on eBay for only $18 including postage!!!!

I can't wait to go back to Disney so I can get some more stuff to start my Disney village. My question to you guys is: Is there a listing of all the accessories available?? I know of a few like the Contemporary, Castle, MGM Hat, but I really want a full listing. Anyone know??

I don't know of a full listing anywhere, but I have a monorail set and a few of the accessories that go with it. I can give you a list off of the top of my head to get you started: Dumbo Ride, Teacups, Castle, Spaceship Earth, Polynesian, Contemporary, Floridian, Tree of Life, the Ears and Hat from MGM, Monorail Switch Station, Extra Signs and Foliage... that's all I can think for now but I'm sure there are a few I'm leaving out. I hope you have fun starting your collection!

I would absolutely love to collect this. I have to wait until I graduate and work full-time so that I'll have the $$, but are there any suggestions to start off with?

The monorail portion is definitely what you need first; it comes with track and everything to make a loop. Then I just started with the major park icons like the castle and Spaceship Earth, but it all goes according to individual preference. Good luck with your collections!

Yep that is how i'm going to start, I got the monorail and now I really want the castle first, then Spaceship earth, tree of life, big Hat, then get the smaller stuff! The only problem is the expense, they aren't cheap!!

BTW, i've heard that i've gotten quite a rarity in a black monorail set?? Is this true??

Yeah, this monorail collection has already drained me of quite a few bucks! But I just buy a piece whenever I'm down Disney, so I get maybe one a year, roughly.... which is a lot more manageable than buying them all at once.

I'm not sure if black is rare or not... I know mine is red and I've seen a lot of purple ones on eBay, but I have no idea about black. Someone else might know more about that than I do. If it is a rarity, then congrats! I think you've found a great deal!

Thanks for the info. I'll be buying them pretty casually as well, trying to save enough for trips half-way around the world can be tough as well as keeping up with all my Disney collections: Princess snowglobes, DL plates, coins and now all the playsets!!
