Cinderella's castle - Talk Disney Vacation Planning Information

I have been looking on line to buy Cinderella's castle for my granddaughters. I know they sell it at WDW and DL but I do not want to carry it home due to the way the airlines throws packages around. I would like to purchase it on line as well as either the monorail or railroad station. I have looked on ebay and have done google search and can not find it. Has anyone purchased these items and where? Thanks

I personally have never seen the items outside of WDW or DL. My suggestion would be to purchase them on site and then have them shipped directly from DTD or wherever you bought them. It's an extra cost, but the saving on space and aggravation taking them back with you is well worth it.

We bought the monorail on the last day we were at WDW last year and they shipped it home for us. I think it was 14 bucks, but I might be wrong. When it showed up at home, nothing was broken or "hurt" in the shipping. We plan to buy at least one "house" and ship that home too. They really are very good at it.

We saw Cinderella's castle at NYC's 'World of Disney' Store. You might try the local Disney Store and see if they have it or can order it.

We bought it for our daughter our last trip. We got it shipped home, thank goodness!

I'm not too sure you'll have to wait. Next time you go, ask them, but I'm pretty sure you can get the number to the store (or guest relations) and you can buy the item and have it shipped to you. I recall doing this with a release of a precious moments item. I don't know if it was because it was a special item or not, but it's worth a try.

Yep- they do ship to you if you buy things in the park. (at least they did us last April)
I would check a local Disney store too....our local store has several snow globes and such. I haven't looked specifically for the castle though....maybe your local store could order one for you and you pick it up??
