Who has been at WDW for a honeymooon? Did you wear the bride and groom ears and the "Just Married" button? If so, what perks did you get?

well doll I haven't done it but I have witnessed soem of the perks. I have seen the newly weds at the HM Get introduced and led in a different way from the rest of us. Every CM they pass says congratulations. Even the characters react to them

Led in a different way? I can't decide if that's exciting or scary...LOL! Just kidding.

I've heard that newlyweds get taken to the front of lines sometimes or get free desserts at restaurants. But I'd love to hear some first-hand reports.

I am going October 12th, and I will make sure we get to wear at least the buttons. I was a little bit disappointed that my family decided not to use the disney honeymoon list at all...but they did not feel comfortable with the idea of purchasing something on the internet. Oh well, our booking agent knows its our honeymoon and i hope she told it everybody there

We went on our honeymoon! I wore the Minnie Ears the whole time! It was too hot for my husband to wear the top hat. We were there in August. LOL But we got LOTS of congratulations. We got a free dessert at the Sci-Fi Drive-In restaurant We also got a certificate from the cast members at that restaurant which they all signed. We also got a certificate from the cast members at The Crystal Palace which had the autographs of Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore on it! A cast member in the future world area stopped is from walking through the crowd and pulled us over to a bakery to give us each a free cookie. We were given the pins that said Just Married and another honeymoon couple gave us a special pin. It has Tink on it and said year or a million dreams I believe. I wish I could remember every detail! We recently moved and all our stuff is packed in boxes until we move to a more permanent residence so I can't even get it out to reminisce(SP? LOL)!

Oh yeah and my boss sent us a wine and cheese platter to our room. Our travel agent also told the resort it was our honeymoon but I don't think we got anything special when we arrived. Oh I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!

We went in March 09 for our honeymoon. I am not a hat/ear person so we did not wear the bride/groom ears. My husband always wears his personalized ears the entire time we are there--yes, even the romantic dinners and to the pool.

He has worn his ears for several trips so they are starting to show wear and tear!! Anyway, we did wear our honeymoon pin all week and constantly had cast members congradulating us. The only benefit we really noticed was the upgraded our bed to a king size at no additional charge. They might have done that anyway, but we choose to believe it was because is was our honeymoon! Hope you have a great time!! When are you going and where are you staying?

Wow, really? Your husband sounds like a character (in the best possible way). Please tell me he didn't wear them into the pool, just to the pool!

Yeah! Our last night there we splurged on a $25.00 6 pack of beer and drank it out of our champaign glasses that came with the gift basket we got. I can't find the picture right now but it's a good one!

I found the picture! LOL It's poor quality for some reason but here it is! Hope everyone who goes to Disney on their honeymoon has as good a time as we did!
