We are going for our 15th Wedding Anniversary this January. We are staying at the Polynesian Resort.
For something special I'd order an in-room package. We got the 'A Mickey and Minnie Congratulations' package last year and loved it. It was a big surprise to my husband. Google 'wdw florist' and you'll find their website to order it.
We wear the Anniversary buttons and enjoyed the well wishes. One year I did wear the pink bridal mickey ears and I think everyone thought it was for our Wedding.
We always pick an upscale restaurant either in the parks or on Disney property to celebrate our Anniversary. We ate at 'Victoria & Albert's' last year and loved it. Very pricey but the food and service is great. This year we're eating at 'Citricos' at the Grand Floridian.
One year I got my husband a race car ride at the WDW Speedway with the 'Richard Petty Experience'. You can find that at the WDW website. It was a lot of fun for my husband.
We also got a cake one year but couldn't eat it all. It was a nice surprise for my husband. (Yupe! I'm the one that arranges the surprises).
This year I was considering getting one of the yacht "experiences" on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Still considering it because it's a bit pricey.
If you go to the 'American Adventure' or probably most CM's they can have a recorded Anniversary message played for you from one of our favourite Disney characters.
When we had lunch at the 'Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater' in HS they gave us a signed card from all the staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary.
We get the deluxe dining plan when it's just the two of us so we can indulge in the nicer restaurants.
So far, we've celebrated our Wedding Anniversary four times at WDW so this coming January will make it five.
