Character Meals

We are really huge WDW fans, but are looking into visiting DL sometime soon. My DD3 is character crazy so I would love to know your suggestions on the character meals available. I truly no nothing about any of them so would love any info. Thanks!

As far as character meals at Disneyland go the best by far is Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. They are open for both breakfast and supper and the food choices are plentiful and the food is amazing...the characters are really great and attenitive and we've had absolutely amazing service everytime we've gone.

Thanks for the reply! I have been waiting to hear some input. We just made reservations for both of the ones in the parks. I am hoping we will be happy with any of them!

I'm sure you'll find you'll be very happy with the food and characters at all of them! I hope you have a great trip and the character meals go really well for you.

Another question!! We are doing the Minnie Breakfast, Ariel's Grotto & Goofy's Kitchen. Can anyone tell me which character's are usually at each of these. I know Minnie, Ariel & Goofy for each of them. THANKS!

Our Favorite Is Chef Mickey. The Buffet For Breakfast Is Awesome. It Is My 4 Daughters, Favorite Character Meal
They Liked It Better Than The Princess Breakfast In Epcot's Norway's Resturant

Ariel's Grotto is usually the princesses. Ariel will wear her blue dress and a pair of legs and the rest of the princesses (Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine) should be greeting.

haven't been to Goofy's or Minnie's, but we think Goofy's has Max and the rest of the fab five.

Paradise Pier has a Lilo & Stitch Breakfast. My son loved it. He kept folowing Stitch around.

Character meals are table service meals where characters (Mickey, Goofy, Pooh, Princesses, etc.) come around to all of the tables during the dinner to take pictures with and sign autographs for the kids (and adults too!). They are alot of fun.

My family travels to DL several times a years and we have been getting autographs for years. The Characters are usually the same but appearances vary. Disneyland Character Meals are a great no matter what characters are there, but if yours is like mine Ariel's Grotto is a must.
