Gibson Girl Parlor - two scoop sundaes

I can't remember Disneyland food (it was years ago that I went) but I guess it's pretty much the same at Disney World...

I really don't like these! The last one I had was full of sinewey bits of bone and I felt like an animal walking round ripping lumps of turkey off.

Now they sound good! I've never seen corn dogs at WDW but the Universal Studios ones are really good!

Is Moscato wine??? It's more like fizzy, vaguely alcoholic grape juice - but very refreshing in the sun!

Ah! Now you're speaking my language!
My fave food at WDW are the fudge brownie sundaes from Ghiradelli's at Downtown Disney. Gorgeous, especially when eaten in the sun at teh tables outside where you can watch the world go by - though you have to eat quick or you're left with a lap full of runny goo where the ice cream melts and runs away!

winkster, great point about the turkey. the wife kinda gave up them a while back. too much of a fuss for her.
tic.. ahh the popcorn! we have enough buckets to quell a san diego brushfire.
we just hit the Jazz Kitchen at downtown disney this past week. some of the food was great... some of it... so so. i love creole and cajun food, but some of the dishes were neither.
forgot to mention the Disney Room Service - Bacon Cheeseburgers. cooked to order and great when you're too lazy to get up and out.
just saw the sticky that mickey crazy put up. i'm very curious about Steakhouse 55. we walked by it a couple of times the other day, maybe i should have checked out the menu. anyone been there yet? is it pricey?

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
In response to the Steakhouse 55 comment, I heard it's one of the more expensive ones at Disney.
Now, I'm in a bit of a pickle. My other half is a bit picky when it comes to drinks and happens to dislike sprite, coke, diet coke, and root beer...which is generally what most of the quick service restaurants offer. So, I was wondering about the souvenir cups. How do those work?
So, if I was planning on spending 4 days in the park, would it be more beneficial if I were to buy the souvenir slipper, instead of a drink with each of my meals?
Favorite Park: I think DCA is good, but I'm still not sure which is my fav.
Favorite Attraction: ugh, too tough

Re: Favorite Disneyland Food
My favorite place for lunch is the Pacific Wharf Cafe over in CA. I love their sandwiches and soups in large bread bowls. Plus, they have some great baked goods and desserts!

I think the best restaurant at both Disneyland and Disney World combined has to Pizza Port at the Magic Kingdom in Disneyland. I havent been in a while, but im hoping it hasn't changed. Last time I went, they had amazing pizza that actually was big enough to feed you, unlike the pizzas in the rest of the park. And the breadsticks are awesome and huge! And then their pasta was amazing! My whole family loves Pizza Port and we always eat there right when we get to the parks. The Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney is also amazing. Most of the meals i've tried really do taste like food from Louisiana. The gumbo is very good, and if you are there in the morning, be sure to get some beignets! They are Louisiana's breakfast food!
