Disneyland 50th Anniversary Show Closing

The Disneyland show "The First 50 Magical Years" is closing.

There is a banner on the show's posters in front of the theater that says the last showing will be on March 15.

There wasn't anything visible about coming attractions.

Saw a new poster up today with a new banner.

It says that Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln will open later this year.

Interesting information, thanks for sharing. Sure do wish I could afford to go to DL, but WDW is closer and less expensive to get to from here!

more like "Great Moments w/ Mr. Linc Washma" (Washington & Obama AA's are being added. I wonder if we'll get the same dialogue Obama did for Florida

don't think they will expand the show. it costs too much too add more figures.

they do it every 4-8 years in FL? how would this be different?

the one in Disneyland only has one figure (Lincoln) and the stage is alot smaller than the one at WDW. the exhibit at Disneyland was never a Hall of Presidents. when it closed it was a history of Walt Disney and then the tribute to Lincoln.

I haven't heard that they were going to do more than just running the original figure. seems like they should be able to do more since the AA equipment is more advanced than the original.
