Just when a Disneyland guest thinks that they have seen it all, the Imagineers come up with something even more spectacular, something even more special or should I say something even more Magical. Precisely named to share a wonderful show in the sky. Putting together the fireworks, musical and lights, you and the kids will enjoy this show.Starting at 9:25 nightly, Magical Fireworks is a show that stars filling the Central Plaza at 8pm. The good spots are gone by 8:30, but if you don't mind searching a bit, then you are going to find a decent spot if you arrive by 9pm. That being said, this show is worth waiting for, so bring your iPod and make some calls to family while you stand around.
There is always something Magical about Disneyland fireworks, but this show really does have all the elements: Sound, sparkle, fireworks, lights, and even confetti as Mickey Mouse heads. AND above all it has a historical element. Those amazing films and attractions we ride are brought to life in this show and then some.
Favorite parts will include Dumbo flying through the sky and the kites on the Castle. Yet, the breathtaking moment is when the lights come on Sleeping Beauty's Castle and spotlights share the amazing colors of the sky.
The idea of checking out this nightly show during summer is a must do on your summer vacation. Keep one night open to watch this spectacular show and the remaining nights, go on the attraction rides. At the middle of the show, it was noticeable that the rides were completely empty which means you can ride with no line!
