They had orignally talked about closing it last year but I get the feeling that they are going to keep it now that they have closed PI and want to make DTD more family freindly. Also now that Virgin has closed they have plenty of room to make a larger ESPN zone at DTD without closing DQ.

Im glad they closed PI. Never really liked that place and i was so hoping they wouldnt close that Virgin Megastore. Also with DQ I love Virtual Space Mountain and the Ride the Comix game where you go into a comic world and fight bad guys with a lightsaber. Once i was going so crazy my seatbelt came undone. I also loved the Aladdin ride and the Hercules ride(is that even still there). Failed at POTC with only 3 people and Alien Encounter isnt much fun when your by youself. Overall I could spend hours in there and im 23

Re: Disney Quest

Thinking about going our first day, about how long do you need to plan on being there?

Re: Disney Quest

My daughter and I spent nearly 5 hours in there our first trip to WDW. Since then we do not even go in anymore. We had no idea how long we had been in. LOL

You could spend a very long time inside DQ. It depends on what you like to do, how long the lines are, etc...

Re: Disney Quest

DisneyQuest is great! I think virtual space mountain is a brilliant idea, making your own roller coaster is such a fun expirience , then they top it off by letting you ride your creation!!! TRUE BRILLIANCE

Re: Disney Quest

I'm thinking of taking a couple of teens to Disney Quest on my November trip. It's been years since I was there last (when Disney use to give Tickets to Disney Quest w/ their vacation packages)
I'm reading here goods and bads. Is it worth the $$ to visit Disney Quest?

Re: Disney Quest

Love Disney Quest, can't believe they have let it slip into un-disney status. Maybe it will be updated during the closure, then re-opend better than the first

It's cool for the kids but I'm not in to arcade games! I love the elevator entrance though with Genie! 8:0) XXX

Re: Disney Quest

I find it all rather dark and claustrophobic - especially as I'm really not that into arcarde games.

I tried the rafting thing and that just made me feel ill (and hot!).

The pirate ship thing was fun though - if a little exhausting when only 2 people are playing!

I have only been disney quest once n I gave to say I wasn't overly impressed.I an disney crazy n didn't like it that much.

I expected more as then it was kinda expensive but I found it dark, boring n the cast there were not friendly either
there are area great rides like the space mt coaster, pirates n jungle cruise boat but there is so few of these special rides n other areas are just full of regular arcades from what I remember anyway.
I noticed too now that it's now included in the package tickets as free entry with the parks.....

My 10 year old daughter is begging us to take her to Disney Quest she's even helping to pay for it. My husband and I loved it in 1999 -and PI as well *sniff*- but reviews seem dicey to me. We'll end up going I think, but if you could would you go back or not?

Re: Disney Quest

Some of the nicest cast members we met were here, truly gems as far as friendliness! We enjoyed Pirates that was a blast, River Rapids, Invasion, and air hockey. Very fun for a few hours, but jam packed with cheerleaders shouting, which was a bit stressful and LOUD. Cast members made this special for us though on both visits with kind words and deeds.

Re: Disney Quest

Absolutely hated this with a passion but my DH and DS both loved it. Thankfully visiting with friends next year so think the mums will have some shopping time while the kids and dads have their fun.
