Is there still a scrapbooking store in DTD?? If so, how is it??

I think the store you mean is the Wonderful World of Memories.

If that's the case, I think the original store was closed and replaced by the Design-a-tee store.

The Wonderful World of Memories then seems to have reopened somewhere in Downtown Disney (both stores are listed on the official WDW site under DTD) and now includes the 'make your own ears' thing - but I can't seem to find a map showing both stores.

Hopefully someone can clarify this.

I found a map that shows it still in the same building it was always in (#19 on the official Disney map) but I keep seeing articles that show it gone now.

the Making Memories store is the scrapbook store, but not like a Hobby Lobby or Michaels, it has things packaged that are uniqe to WDW that you don't find at the other stores...but it is limited and you will need to add paper or other things from other sources.

I have bought a number of things there....especially things that are unique to the year you are at WDW. The others are correct there are other things in this store like make the ear area, packture frames, books (which I have bought and used in my scrapbook pages) and other things that make memories for all the guests at WDW

Also, look at the shopping areas of your resorts, some of the same items are sold there that are at Making Memories in addition to things that are unique to your resort.

Also, the new make a t shirt store has patches that can be scrapbooked and they are really neat

I thought that the World of Memories scrap-booking store in DTD closed to make way for the Haynes T-shirt Shop. Is it still in DTD?

I have a feeling they re-opened the store elsewhere in DTD.

Perhaps one of our members could check it out next time they are at WDW?

ahh...sounds like a cool store!!! hope it IS still there when we go in May
