It is starting out as a very cloudy day. The sun should come out later and we will be warmer with a high in the low 80's.
Still looks like a great summer day.

It's going to be hot today! High around 90 and humid.
It is getting pretty dry around here. We are close to setting a record for dryest August, and this comes after having the wettest July!

Well, we can't complain about the weather, even if it is a bit dry!
Today will be gorgeous! Sunny , less humid, and a high in the upper 80's.

We finally might have a chance for some rain. We could use it!
Today will be cloudy with a high in the upper 80's. Rain should move in around midnight bringing us thunderstorms.
Let the rain begin!

Today we hit 97! This is the hottest summer I can remember in a long time!

We are keeping an eye on Hurricane Earl, hopefully we will get some rain from it on Friday. (but not too much wind!)

Wouldn't you know we have a big outdoor party planned for Saturday - hope Earl comes and goes by then!

We are finally getting the rain we need. It poured last night and we should get rain for the next two days.
High should be around 80.
We really need this rain.

Me too! It's my FIL's 70th birthday!

The rain that you are getting now should head our way and hopefully keep Huricane Earl way off the coast.

We will be very very "Earlish" starting around 5 in the afternoon, evacuations already taking place, yuck yuck go away!

Hopefully Earl will stay off the coast. Get your emergency supplies and hunker-down! Stay safe!

It will be 96 again today, Earl should be here tomorrow. At least he will cool us down! The waves at the beach are already strong, hopefully Earl doesn't take to much of our beaches with him when he goes!

Everything is good here-but I am now hearing that by the time it makes it up towards Maine it might strengthen again, wow I hope not! They evacuated the island (about 10 min from us), but they are all going back now..Hope this is it for hurricanes..Yikes!

I am happy to hear you are OK. Things sound like it could have been much worse.

Around here the temps really dropped to more like fall weather. Today will be partly cloudy with a high of 70.

Earl came and went and didn't do much of anything!

Today will be bright sun - high of 81 - slightly breezy!

How was your party? Was it outdoors? I hate to hear of these "fall" temps happening, that means my gorgeous summer is going away. I despise cold weather and don't know how you northerners do it! I think it's absolutely freezing at 69..

It is still a bit cool for this time of year.
Today will be cool with a high of 70 and sunny.
The warm weather will be back by tomorrow.
