Question New Exhibit?

When we were in WDW last summer, the area across from the Winnie the Pooh ride was blocked off and they were building something. Does anyone have any information about this? I was wondering if it's finished and, if so, what is it? I did a search but couldn't anything about it on TD.

I'm now sure of the exact name, but it I know it is a pooh-related play area for little ones.

Yes indeed, I believe the name is Pooh's Playful Spot. It's a nice little playground with good theming. I tend to agree though that the area could've been used for something that may have appealed a little more across the board.

It does seem like a waste of space.. with that said if it helps out on the ride scene thats awesome. I wonder if there are any statistics on freeing up rides?...

It is a cute area and the kids really like it.But i wonder why the Disney folks don't build these kind of things outside the rides that the little ones can't ride. Mom rides and dad waits for the hand off, dad rides and mom waits. If the little ones had places like this to play, it would make it much easier for mom and dad, or grandma who sits while both ride and has to entertain the little one.
