Chatty Disney CM's

Last night when I called to make my final payment for our next adventure the cast member was really talkative. This is the 3rd time in the last 4 months for this to happen to me.

ITS GREAT!!

The first call was for ADR The CM helped me get into Spoodles. He was asking about the King & Queen (my parents) the lord & lady, and about the little prince and princess.

The secong call was about our favorite rides and favorite adventures.

Last night the CM wanted to know what my very first disney moment.

Plus the music while on hold last night was from Splash mountain.

Boy does all of this puts me in a really good disney mood.

I had one about a month ago try to give me a recipe for some meatloaf thing. LOL She was hilarious! She had this really thick Southern Alabama accent. It was great! I thought I had an accent!

They are just some of the reasons we all keep going back. Fantastic CMs make the trips have that much more sparkle at the end of the day

I love talking to the CM's on the phone, they are so friendly and its a little peice of Disney when you're at home! The last time I called, she was spelling back my name and address and using all Disney characters "IE A for Aladdin and M for Mickey" she was so impressive, I told her so and she repeated the whole alphabet as Disney to me!!!!

I love the whole experience of calling Disney.

I usually hate calling organizations - I can't stand hold music and recorded messages of "press 1 for this, press 2 for that, press 3 to be ignored and press 4 to be accidentally cut off". It drives me mad!!!

Disney hold music on the other hand puts me in a great mood straight away. The ride/parade music they play instantly takes me back to WDW and I sit on hold with a huge grin on my face.

The last CM I spoke to was way OTT but in a great way. Spelling words back to me, she was all "W for wonderful, A for amazing, M for magical" - cringeingly corny but great at the same time - I love it!

The only people I've found that are slightly different is the DVC "sales people" who are not quite so bouncy and jolly.

It does make such a nice change ringing Disney - I don't know why more companies can't adopt that approach. Disney really have cornered the market in magic!

I love to speak to CM's that are as excited as me about my up coming Disney trip. I spoke to one last year that gave me a lot of details of the menus at particular restaurants and their own favourite picks. It just made me all the more excited for my trip.

When I'm on the phone with a CM is the only time I don't mind being placed on hold. I love the Disney music!

I had a DVC person get really chatty with me awhile back, to back I could not afford to buy into it just now, but she was chatty all the same.

I love talking to the CMs. They have all been really friendly. I had the best conversation with one a couple of months ago before BPB. She was really nice and friendly, and I enjoyed talking to her.

me to my last Trip was back in 07' but i'm so happy i'll be able to talk to them again..i have a disney credit card and thoes people are great to....but lets see last time i talked to a cm was for revs. for dinning...and they were very helpful and frendily we wanted to go to Teppan Edo in epcot and it was open when i first called...but a few days later they called and said it would be closed and under con. so we went to rose and crown insdead but he asked if we were staying for the firworks and i said we we're and he was so nice and gave us v.i.p seating for the show

my mom and i were talking about having a dinner there next year and i told her how i wanted to see how we could get a table to see the show. so when you make the ADR for it are you able to put request that you want a "v.i.p seat" if at all possible. i understand what the cm was doing because your original ADR was for Teppen Edo, but i wonder if they can do it people that ask ahead of time

i belive so but i think that might cost money i'm not quite sure

well i guess that would be a question to ask when we get to that part of planning the trip...its still over a year away but you know how fast time goes.
