The Safari for me.

It's less corny than most and great to see the animals - in fact it's a nice to see anything real that's not animatronic.

Animatronics are great but there's something special about seeing huge (real) elephants, lions, rhinos and giraffe's strolling close by as you bounce past in the back of a truck.

I chose the Safari for its realism. Well what you see is real. But a close second for me is the Jungle Cruise for its now cheesiness.

I was thinking the Living with the Land was the Behind the Seeds tour, which I prefer over the ride. It's interesting to see close up the hydroponics.

I'd have to say the safari because it's pretty consistent. I've never had a bad guide.

The Jungle Cruise is great when you get a good guide, but pretty bad when you get one of those people who just reads lines. There's an older guy who is a blast. He is great at ad libbing.

I miss the live guide on Living with the Land. I think it lost part of its personality when they switched to the recording.

The Great Movie Ride is hit-or-miss. I prefer male guide because it works better for the big shoot-em-up scenes. But for the last couple of years I've only had female guides, and most of them were pretty drab.

I went with the great movie ride. I love the gangster that pops out. A lot of fun. The safari is great, but to me its the same thing over and over again. The animals are very very cool, but there is a serious lack of corny.

I like corny.

Although, the Jungle Cruise is getting more CMs who, I don't think, get the humor of the jokes they're telling. But we have gotten a few VERY good CMs. I really didn't like the Backlot tour, I enjoyed the costumes and things at the end more. LOL

I picked GMR, because I really hope to work there soon (plus I love the ride- it's a classic).

Jungle Cruise for me. I know it sounds contradictory when I say this, but the fake story line of the Safari proved more distracting for me than the pure cheesy-ness of JC. I guess after going on the behind-the-fence photo safari at San Diego's Wild Animal Park, I was expecting something more like that, so when faced with a plot/storyline of poachers, I got turned off and couldn't get past it.

JC is fake to begin with, so I don't get so distracted.

I know, I'm a weirdo. (Sigh...)

At one time I would have said backlot but now it is the safari for me.

The past few times I've been there, I've gotten the cowboy scene because I keep forgetting which car is which. I think I have it down now. Front car, gangster. Back car, cowboy.

Oops, I think I'm wrong. I believe the gangster scene comes up before the western scene, therefore the first car is cowboy, second car is gangster.

So make sure you're in the first of the two cars when you go on the ride next time.

They don't always do the Bandit show. The one they do most of the time is the Gangster show.

But there are two cars that move together with two different guides. They separate when one stops in the gangster room, the other in the western room. I'm pretty sure of that. I think.
