Have not done it yet but on our upcoming trip we are going to spend some time at the resort. Planning on doing some sailing.

Renting a sailboat! That sounds fun. Do you already have to know how to use one to rent it?

You can rent them at CBR. A few years ago, I read that the best way to stimulate your kids minds for success academically was to throw something new at them activity wise in the summer. We do the traditional stuff but each year we add something. Golf one year, swimming, etc... This summer my oldest took a sailing class. 2 weeks at a Yacht club in Mississippi. HE LOVES IT.

I don't have kids, but my mind could certainly use some stimulation for success! I might look into sailing, but it does seem like a lot of work compared with boats that run on engines.

Go for your Captain's license then. That way, when you retire, you can work p/t at Disney as part of the Watercraft team. You did say you enjoyed that ferry trip from POR to DTD, didn't you?

Nooo - I don't want such strong competition for when I apply.

Although of course, Alice is considerable older than I am so she'll be there long before me (ducks low flying blow).

ooo.... wouldn't that be fun! Retire in Disney and drive around a boat all day in the Happiest Place on Earth! Love it!

What's a captain's license, anyway? Never heard of it! How do you get it? What does it mean? Info, please! (EDIT: Oh wait, do you mean a REAL captain's license? Not some kind of special fun WDW thing? I like the idea of a special fun WDW captain's license.)
