I'm sure that there has been a thread about this, previous to this one, but I can't find it, so I wanted to add it! =)

If you are a first time visitor to Disney World, you can visit the Town Hall, right inside the main entrance, and receive a (free) special button that says, "1st Visit." The Cast members paid special attention to this pin - and sooo many walked up to my daughter and shook her hand, or congratulated her on her first visit to "the world."

The button is really cute - and it's really big and obvious! My daughter LOVES it!

That's a great one. I was aware of the Birthday Button. Anyone know about any other buttons available? (Anniversary? etc....)

I love these buttons, you can get Birthday ones, Happy Anniversary ones, Wedding ones and last time we were there, we saw someone with a button that said Honorary Citizen of Main Street, so we asked and they were if you have visited more than ten times, so I got one of those too!!!

We got my daughter a Happy B-day pin in October and I was blown away of how many CM's wished her a happy birthday. It was amazing to see her walk into stores and the CM's not only picked up it was a b-day pin but addressed her by name. We even had a few CM's say "happy b-day Melanie" as they were walking past her. She just lit up every time it happened.

There was a little girl, named Molly, who was celebrating a bday this past weekend. She was standing in line behind us for Peter Pan's Flight. When she got in her ship, I heard the CM wishing her a "Magical Birthday" and she addressed her by name. That little girl was just GLOWING. It was so sweet to see. =)

I wish I could take my kids for their birthdays. But, all 3 are in the summer....and we are all incredibly fair skinned and none of us do well in heat. =(

for the birthday pins, my birthday is in june and the ONLY time i am able to go is in january. so i know i will never celebrate my birthday there. but last month when i was there i did get a birthday pin (haha a pretended it was my birthday, im bad, sorry!!) and i got a free carrot cake at peco's bill cafe

i always wanted to celebrate my birthday but there is no chance i will in june..so why not do it in january? lol

i have 5 more trips to go till i get a Honorary Citizen of Main Street pin :-D

also last month i finally went to the animal kingdom park, i did get a 1st visit pin but i only wore it for that park, since i have been to the other three and never at the animal kingdom

If you're an adult and it's your birthday, you should get a birthday button. They're not just for kids. I've gone to WDW on a couple of adult birthday trips and we got great perks and lots of attention.

DisneyMickey87...LOL!!! My birthday is during the hottest time of year, so I've never been able to wear my own birthday pin. But I actually have thought about faking it in the winter months. Just never had the nerve!!

I saw adults with Birthday pins I saw one woman at Hollywood & Vine and I wished her happy birthday and she had the biggest smile on her face she was so happy

I know what you mean Curious Alice, I was nervous at first asking for one, and having to pretend that it was my birthday. I hate lying so I felt pretty bad having to pretend my birthday was in January when it isnt lol. But knowing if you wont be able to celebrate down their on your ACTUAL birthday, it doesnt hurt to do it when it's not your birthday anyways.

this just clicked into my head now...I got to celebrate my happy UNbirthday! LOL!!

Honorary Citizen of Main Street Pin is when you have visited WDW more than 10 times. I saw a few people down there with that pin it looked nice, i remember seeing the color red on some parts of the pin

hmm i dont think so, you just let them know you've been there more than 10 times and they'll give it to you

they didnt ask for proof if it was my birthday when i asked for a birthday button
