Our favorite time of the year is October ( Yes I know that was not one of the options) but we have traveled the last week of November as well. Suprisingly, being there the week of Thanksgiving was not as busy as you might think. And the holiday decorations are AMAZING!
I am happy to hear that October is a good time to go. I will be going for my honeymoon Oct. 8-16.

We saw an ad on TV last night for the latest DDP offer which is being combined (in the UK anyway) with an offer for a 14 day park pass for the price of 7.
It's been a tough time at work lately so, having said I prefer May, we started wondering whether an October trip might be due.

I checked the prices out earlier today and gulped a bit!
Not sure how realistic October will be now - although we're off to Vegas in a month so if we win big, I'll be booking the Presidential Suite at the GF!

I do not think you will have a problem with waterparks at this time of year.
I think the best time to go to Disney is all the time.

I have found this info for you about the water parks.
Blizzard Beach closed through 3/20/10 for refurbishment.
We also have a link to the weather that will give you the averages for any month of the year
I've been a few times in May and a few times in October. In May it's warmer and it's really nice. In October it's lighter nights it's a bit cooler than May, it's cool in the morning but it does warm up in the day, and with it being Halloween it's a great time to go, and if you are there in november the decorations go up so it's pretty nice then too.

My family has gone to Disney in March, June and July. We love to go in June because we can spend as long as we want to and don;t have to worry about missing school. June is a crowded time but we don't have a problem with that. July is too hot, so I wouldn't go then. March is a good weather month, but my kids have to miss school. I would go in June if possible.

we've gone feburary and october and both times we thought it was fine!
feburary wasnt overly crowded but not overly light either. it was really fun! i didnt think presidents day weekend was that bad, compared to christmas...but its not as light as the rest of the month.
october was fine as well. we went over MNSSHP and thought it was fine. however we dont mind crowds that much. but it was extremely light compared to xmas. although anythings better than xmas!

We are going in October of this year and I've done extensive research because last time we went in June and it was pure and utter CRAZINESS!!!! October seems to be a "slower" season and all the Halloween events should be pretty wicked! If you are interested in Epcot, then October is busiest there due to the Food Festival. I am extremely excited to go, and experience nice weather and lighter crowds ... last time 100 degress was a bit much for us! LOL
