I'll be visiting WDW w/ my granddaughter the first week of November. I thought I read somewhere that at the various parks you can get details to do a Scavenger Hunt. Can anyone tell me where, if at all, I can get this information.

I have never heard about an official WDW scavenger hunt, but there are ways to do it yourself.
You can pick up a copy of the very popular book, Hidden Mickeys: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best-Kept Secrets, by Steven M. Barrett. It has a great way to have a do-it-yourself hunt for Hidden Mickeys. You can get it at Amazon. I have this book and usually bring it with me on WDW trips.
Also, there's a book called PassPorter's Treasure Hunts at Walt Disney World by Jennifer Marx. I believe you can get it used on Amazon. It's out of print, so it's pretty expensive. I've never looked through this book, but it seems like fun.

At Epcot you can do the Kim Possible Adventure. Its at the World Showcase and they give you clues that take you to different things in a specific country to solve a case. It's free and sounds like fun. I think we will give it a try on our trip.

Never heard of that. Sounds like a great idea for kids! Especially in Epcot, which is more adult than the other parks.

Kim Possible is a total blast!!! My kids LOVED it!! I think you may have heard about the do it yourself scavenger hunts. It is in the °°°°°°° newsletter. Not sure exactly which one though. We are planning some things for the kids in december since we are going with another family. It is up to you how many things and what to look for!!

no kidding! The only that was a little bit of a bummer was how once in Germany we were one of 5 families doing the same mission and we had to wait and pretend to not see the solution.
But...it was extremely cool, added a very nice "thing" to do in the WS.

Where in Epcot do you go to sign up for the Kim Possible Adventure?

You should be able to find all the info. you need.
Also if you search youtube you can watch other people doing the adventures (it does spoil the surprise).

The youngest to do it and actually do it? Huh...good question. If you want them to do it totally on there own? 7? If you're willing to help them....5?
And be aware that if you have more than one child...try to do a mission for each kid. Not that I would know anything about kids fighting over who gets to hold the Kim-municator. LOL And to think at 13 and 8 they would know how to share...sigh

Thanks for the link. This looks like such a cool idea...is it just a kid thing or can adults without kids enjoy it, too?
