Hi, I just joined today but have been reading for about a week as I am currently planning a trip for May.

My question today is why must the confirmation numbers be entered each time? I went to My Disney vacation after I booked and assumed everything would be there. What is the point of having the account if it does not store your trip information such as resort and dining reservations?

This board has already been very helpful for me and I look forward to spending a lot of time here as I await my trip. Thanks!

My assumption would be for security reasons and extreme traffic flow of the site. Once you enter those #s the info is there...It's to protect you and everyone else.

Or that would be my guess....LOL

Must be an Internet Explorer thing. I use Firefox and it keeps my data like that in the field for me so that each time I go to the page all I need to do is hit submit or login or whatever the website I am on asks for. Thankfully it doesn't do this with bank information though.

When I did my trip last November the site saved my confirmation number and all I had to enter was my date, hotel and last name. This year the site still has last years confirmation number and I have to add my new number each time I want to check my details or make a payment.

I think it has to do with them "improving" the site!

It definitely isn't and Internet Explorer thing as I've used Friefox for a long time.

And it might be an "improvement" or "for security" but to me it's a bit annoying!
