2011 Rates out

I received notification that the 2011 rates are out. Now I am waiting to hear from my TA, the wait for ressies is nearly over and I am just jumping inside can not think or do anything waiting for my TA to contact me.

Not much of an increase as near as I can tell. Really do not remember what my costs would have been in 2010 rates.

Who else is planning a trip in 2011?

Well I am hoping to take my boyfriend to WDW in April for our 5 year.

We've had our 2011 trip booked for a while now.

No idea how that works if the rates aren't out yet but it's booked and deposit paid.

Roll on May 1st!

I don't understand it either, but we could not make the ressies until the rates came out and as they have done so, I am happy to say the reservations are made, the deposit is in the mail (I prefer to pay by check) and the countdown has begun.

I have my list of ADR's and planned itinerary in hand. Will finalize my itinerary just as soon as the calendar for May 2011 is posted.

Let the fun begin!

Great news!

The only thing I couldn't get when we booked our trip was the water view room at POR. That has to be added later (presumably once the 2011 rates are out).

I guess Disney just releases a huge tranche of rooms to Virgin Holidays and lets them get on with it.

Not really sure Rick. We may just leave it to chance.

As long as we get a water view of some sort (which we will if we pay for it - I hope!!), I'll be happy.

I have never considered a preferred view, we just take what they give us for the most part. Now with the last trip, it had to be on the ground floor, but this year without my 78 yr old mother, one of the upper floors would be very nice indeed.

Oh yes, got my confirmation that my deposit has been received and credit made.

We get a water view just so we're guaranteed not to overlook the parking lot. It kinda ruins the theming of an antebellum mansion with a load of cars outside your window!

We're going in 2011. we were going to wait until september to book but with this free dining offer...I booked this morning.

AHH!! So EXCITED! Just got my TA to "Hold" our booking. POR for late Sept/Early Oct. (Our 10th anniversary) GETTING FREE DINING!! This saved us almost $900 for what we were looking at!! Havent been to Disney since 2007!! How do I get the 'countdown' in my profile??

Congrats on the Anniversary! The Hubby and I went in March (no kids) for our 15th. We had an amazing time. LOL
