Well, got off the phone with WDW a few hours ago and we are booked for June 2-11 POR with free dining!!!

Usually we're Pop people as you all know but the savings from the free dining made POR very affordable. LOL I know several of you love that resort...so thanks for the input!

Total happy dance..I've heard from the hubby non-stop about POR. LOL I don't think he's working at this point.

I hope so too...and with football and basketball seasons both coming up as well as the school year starting soon...We'll be to busy to think of how long we have left to go. LOL

I can't tell you how happy I am. The CM asked if we wanted to check out the option for a moderate and my first thought was TD and Riverside. You guys rock!

Yep - every room.

Great for soft drinks, beer and wine for a quick drink when you get back after a tiring day.

Awesome! We are driving down and will have a cooler with us, so that will totally come in handy.

Is there anything special I need to know about POR?

ive never been to POR, but i stayed at POFQ and visited several times on my last trip

1) take advantage of the boat to DTD! its very fun and relaxing, and one of the best things about the resort. however you may want to bring a jacket when you go at night, it can get chilly

2) The main pool is awesome, but if you want some quiet time, go to one of the littler, quieter pools. they dont have as much of a theme, but they are still fun and not that crowded

3) take the walk from POR to POFQ- its beautiful! it doesnt take that long, and the landscaping is gorgeous. definately fun to do!

im sure other people will have other pieces of advice, but theres a start

Debating whether or not to switch our trip from the beginning of May to the end of May to take advantage of free dining.

That of course means changing hotel reservations for enroute and car rental, but it is early I can still get some deals. Also means traveling during Memorial day stuff....

so much to consider
