    Disney DIY!

What things do you craft for your trips to WDW or DL or just to wear around the office, home etc???

I'm curious, because I'm already starting to make luggage tags in the shape of a Mickey head for each member of our family who is going, and I am making several clothing articles for my girls.

And if you have photos or tutorials, would you share?

Now please keep in mind that this is ONLY for personal use. If you sell those items, please refrain from promoting them. Let's keep it to DIY for your personal use.

I've been making magnets and Scrabble tile pendants using Disney (and other) pictures. I don't sell them or anything; I just do it for fun. Also, pendants using epoxy stickers and clear glass domes. I'll probably do a couple of Disney pendants for myself for our upcoming trip. It's really easy to do and they look great.

Here's an example of the epoxy sticker jewelry. You just print and cut out eight 3/4-inch pictures, glue them into the squares (I use a thin coat of E3000, let it dry, then put the epoxy sticker on top and you're done! I'm making a villains bracelet for my Halloween WDW trip.

Just be careful because they're not waterproof. The water can make the sticker fall off.

Those are great! Can you buy those in a craft store or do you have to order them?

    Re: Disney DIY!

This is only a sort of DIY, but the last Disney arts project I did was a cross stitch pattern I bought at the parks (came with the thread). It was of Walt painting himself as Mickey, and the finished product hangs in my bedroom. It took me 2 weeks to complete, and I love it.

I want to do one of those! Cross stitch is so much fun, where in the park did you get it, do you remember?

And since you stitched it, I believe it DOES qualify as DIY!
