They did play the trailer for Star Wars and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before Robots. Both looked very good. I can't wait to see both of them.

The last movie I saw was Stripes. The zebra that wanted to be a racehorse.

It was cute. I also don't get out much. Taking my son to see Robots this week though!

The Phantom of the Opera

I was disappointed in it. It just didn't seem to translate well to the silver screen from the stage. I don't know what they did wrong, but I prefer the stage version to the movie version.

I can't exactly pinpoint it, but it came across a bit...."cheesy." Which is rather surprinsing since I was such a huge Phantom Phanatic back in the day.

Hey!! I just saw that today!!!! Yea...it was a bit poorly done. My friends and I kept making fun of the Phantom cuz he flips his cape like 20 times!!! And Christine gets snow stuck in her lipstick for liek 2 scenes (when she goes to visit her father's grave) (We were the only ones in the theater so we weren't bothering anyone's film!)
I did enjoy the singing though....even though the songs were repeated repeatedly!! I loved the costumes though and realy thought that Minnie Driver brought some good comic relief! However, I shamefully, never saw it on the stage, so I can't compare the two. Sorry

Just this Friday, my brother and I were visiting our sister in Columbia, Missouri. She wanted to see a movie so we chose Robots. When we saw Robots, we saw the trailers to the following upcoming movies: Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Fever Pitch, Herbie: Fully Loaded, and yes Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith.

I saw "The Ring Two" yesterday which IMHO was just OK. The first one was much better.

That is what one of my friends told me today. The first one is lots better than the second. Some horror and/or suspence film sequils sometimes don't do as well as the first.

The last movie I saw that was a horror film was Boogeyman. That had lots of good suspence in it.

Today I saw Robots for the second time. Once down in Columbia (MO) and once here in Lincoln (NE).

Actually, I seem to be the only one who really loved "The Ring Two". I think it was a great addition to the "The Ring". Some people that I know have seen "The Ring Two" but not "The Ring" and that is why they tend to dislike it. You really have to see the first to get to know with the second film. Especially because the second one is a prequel and a sequel. Oh well, everyone has different opinions. Even though "The Ring Two" didn't scare me, I thought is was a well-thought-out movie with a great plot to follow up from the first which was also a great movie. But I do agree, the first was definitely creepier. In my opinion, "The Ring" franchise is not scary...but creepy!
