I am too traditional - these look nothing like the 7 dwarfs. I have a two year old we watch Disney Junior all the time and all the movies. Most of their other shows that feature the characters from the movies stick with the look of the movie. I would think they do that for branding and marketing. I am a little surprised they would make them look so different now when they want to bring the movie from the vault that population of kids are going to think these new dwarfs should be in the movie.
On another note it probably will be a good cartoon. I have been happy with the DJ lineup.

I'm with Kris here, they are cute but I don't really like them. Plus it says they help the Queen in this show but in Snow White it's opposite. Wonder I'd Snow White will make an appearance? I'm sure it will be a cute show but I also think it will be confusing.

Do you think the Queen will be good or evil? My daughter loves the evil queen. In fact she thinks all queens are evil...

Re: Seven Dwarfs on TV
I'll keep an open mind to it.
I think it would be neat if they did it pre-Snow White timeframe, and filled in backstory on the dwarves, how they came to live together and mine together, how they got their names/personalities, etc.

Have you seen the ABC show called Once Upon a Time - they sort of hit this topic. They do a lot of tests on the usual stories. Good show if they play the reruns this summer would recommend it.
