F avourite Disney/Pixar movie of last decade

Following on from SRFAN's best soundtrack of the last decade I was wondering what everyone's favourite movie of that period was?
Mine is Wall-E. The first half hour of that movie is cinematic genius.

Mine is either Beauty and the Beast or The Little Mermaid! Love both the story and the music!

Best one of the last 10 years? Hrm, that's a toughie.

That's a tough one. I would say Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe, because they did a really good job with that (unfortunantly they didn't carry on with that quality)...

Avengers was really good, but since Disney only got involved towards the end of production, I can't let them have credit for it.

And of course, all the Pixar movies are great (my favorite overall is Cars).

But, I'm gonna go with Tangled. They really brought back that animated feeling from the early 90s with that movie. I went in not expecting much out of it, and walked out wanting to see it again!

Absolutely! That film blew me away. I'm glad someone else agrees about that first half hour. A lot of people complain that there's no dialogue. I thought it was brilliant.

I also love the references to (one of my favorite directors) Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

For me, the first half hour made the movie. It sortof went downhill after that, imho. Not that the rest of the movie was "bad"...just that the first 30 minutes was so darned good!

I felt the same way about Up!...

My absolute favorite Disney/Pixar movie is a toss up between Lilo & Stitch and Wall-E. If you put my feet to the fire I would go with Lilo & Stitch.

I see people are answering with movies that aren't Pixar, like Lilo & Stitch and Tangled, and now I'm a little confused by the question.

Are you asking about Disney and Pixar movies or just Disney's Pixar movies?
