I have tried on my own many times to adjust the size of photos for posting. As I mentioned yesterday I am an eBay seller so believe me I have tried. but it never worked. I know how to zip in & out of a photo to enlarge them but when I tried to post them at a larger or smaller size they would not to the change in the posted photo.
I have several DLR photos I would like to post to the site. And, these are regular photos not digital as since I have been unemployed for 2 & 1/2 years I do not have a digital camera.
Any help you can give me would REALLY be appreciated!! Thank you very much!!





OK, a new photo question....
I have been looking at the photos & clip are posted on the site & I see people can add them to their posts.
I see the icon to add images. How can they or any photo be added into the posts? I tried but it did not work.

1. After changing the size of the photo you did not save changes therefore the file was still the same size. If you want to save the file in at a smaller size you must click on File/Save as, save the file to your hard drive then upload the newly saved smaller file.

2. Click post reply add your response, scroll down to Additional Options: Attach Files, click on the Manage attachments button. Search for the file on your hard drive click open then click the upload button. If the file is the correct size and extention it will upload. and you will see a new box that reads Current Attachments that will tell you the size of the uploaded file and give you an option to remove it. If you want the file to be posted click close this window and Submit Reply.

Now, about my other question about posting clip art & photos from the site into my message postings, like I see other members do. How do you do that? I have tried & tried that on my own with no luck......

Click reply on the bottom left of the post you are replying to and it will open up a new page.

Above the text box re all the icons for formating one's post.

Below the text box are Additional Options.

There is a Manage Attachments button.

click that and another box willpo-up and there one can upload an image after browsing for it. Keep in mind, once again, that size is the variable and one shouldn't upload an image that is larger than 300 x 300. Close the window after it uploads and accepts the image.

Once that is done, click submit reply, and you're done.

Sorry, I am confused. Was that for the scanner inputting photos to the site or clip art & photos on the site to post to message posts?
I am playing with the scanner photos right now & I am not having any luck making them a smaller size for input to the site.
