Wishes going away?

I was online when I came across some people saying that CMs told them that the wishes firework show was going away.Can anyone back this up?

We get an awful lot of "My best friend's second cousin, twice removed heard from the uncle of a CM's hamster that this is going to happen" type threads on TD.

I take them with an enourmous pinch of salt as most never turn out to be true.

I never believe anything until I hear the announcement from Disney.

The Magic, The Memories and You castle projection show is going away soon and will be replaced with a new show in November. Also reports of LED lights returning to trees in the hub. I've read that this is all going to lead up to a new castle projection/fireworks show that will replace Wishes and that will also work with the glow in the show ears that have been a big hit in DL/DCA with WOC and F! I do think it's coming, but not TOO soon.

Of all the places to stick Glow with the Show, to me, it's at Illuniations!

Once GWTS Ears hit WDW (and they will), I think you will see them work at all four parks. MK Fireworks, Illuminations at Epcot, F! at DHS and maybe FOTLK at AK.

I agree that the gwts ears will be at every show But that they're taking away wishes AND castle projection- wow- that's a lot. I mean I want the gwts ears but not if it's going to replace everything. I guess change is inevitable but its not going to be pretty. I really like wishes( the rest can go for all I care including illuminations lol) and I hope it doesnt go any time soon. Thanks for the rumor input
