I don't believe that there is anything that says you have to do the dolphin encounter. AAMOF, I know that there was a ticket that let you in with no dolphin encounter.

Hold on while we dive on over to the Discovery Cove forum

I recently went to Discovery Cove and it was the best thing i've ever done in my life!!! You do not have to do the dolphin swim, but honestly there is no point in going unless you are going to do it. The entire park is beautiful and the tropical reef is awesome. Everything is free once you pay admission - even the food!!!! And you get to keep your snorkelling gear as well!
I can't think of a better way to spend a holiday than here, it is amazing and something i'll never forget, the only word of advice is do not get the video. I emailed DC and got a refund, they are very poorly made and i've heard of a lot of complaints!!!

Discovery Cove Promotions?

Are there any promotional deals for Discovery Cove? I Didn't go last year but I might like to go with my family this year.

Thanks to all

There usually aren't any promo deals done for Discovery cove, but you can check the website at www.discoverycove.com it may tell you something. The price is worth every penny.

This may be OK if you don't care what day you go and if you aren't going with a bunch of people. Discovery Cove books out FAST and sometimes it can be hard to get a ticket that includes the dolphin swim if you don't book well in advance.
