Jo, i know how you feel. It is so hard to go there and not feel like you never want to leave. I'll send some pixie dust your way in hopes of a trip soon. Did you ever try Mouse Savers http://www.mousesavers.com/free.html#sweeps perhaps you could win a trip....

Really splurged on this one, was a tough decision, cut a huge chunk into my credit limit and I hope it will be worth it. I have tried to justify it to myself by dividing the cost by three, as we got the Busch and Seaworld passes with the Discovery Cove pkg.

Sounds like someone really enjoyed there experience here. Would love to hear more about it if anyone cares to expand!

I have booked our family of four with the Dolphin swim (once in a lifetime experience, right - my other way of justifying the cost) for the end of March, during our first ever trip to Orlando (hopefully not our last)!! I am really looking forward to this. I am getting so excited, anxious and nervous about the whole trip I cannot sleep! Thank goodness for this forum!

I love Seaworld and was there last September and also the year before that we went to Discovery Cove which I fell in love with. I too know how hard it is to save when you are not in the USA, at least it is cheaper for you from the UK than it is from Australia!! But I try to go every year anyway, Credit Cards be damned

Hey 4tygar don't worry about the cost of DC, it is well worth it, you get to keep your snorkel/goggles, food is free all day, towels and lockers are free, so is sunscreen and you get one free photo. It is such a beautiful place you will love it, I didn't even think about how much I paid once I got in there, I would have paid twice that much!! It is amazing and I don't even like dolphins that much But I do now!!

Re: I miss Seaworld and Discovery Cove!

I actually just got back to my apartment. I was at Sea World just half an hour ago. It was beautiful. There were a lot of schools visiting, but they still weren't that busy. The weather was perfect. The flowers were lovely and you could even smell them while on the rollercoaster (KRAKEN!!). It is such a calming place.
