Talking Sea World, Anything like Miami Sea Aq.?

When my family and I went to the MSA when we went to Miami a few years ago, it was great! Is Sea World anything like it!?

Re: Sea World, Anything like Miami Sea Aq.?

I have not been to neither of Seaworld or the Miami Seaquarium, but from the tons of stuff I have heard, Seaworld is tons better. Personally, I would never set foot at the Miami Seaquarium from all the horror pictures and stories I have heard

Re: Sea World, Anything like Miami Sea Aq.?

I've never been to the Miami Seaquarium but looking at it, it looks like a cheaper, less impressive version of Sea World.

I love Sea World. I think they've done a great job with the landscaping and general style of the place and that's before you look at the animals. The animals themselves all seem very well cared for in pretty immaculate conditions, with very easy visitor access and big capacity stadiums for the shows. The shows themselves are very entertaining, even though some are gushingly over-sentimental.

The food is pretty good too with a wide choice ranging from sandwiches and salads (although as seems to be the norm, you have to know where to look to find them!), through the usual burger style fare to sit down full table service restaurants. There's even free beer at the Hospitality Center.

If you liked the Miami Seaquarium, I'd imagine you'd love Sea World.

Living in Miami, I would tell you Sea World is 1000 time better than the Seaquarium. It is run down, small and extremely expensive for what it is. So, if you liked that, you're going to love Sea World.

I haven't been to the Seaquarium, but Sea World was just beautiful. I was very impressed. If you go, try to catch the Pets Ahoy show. It's not sea-oriented as it stars rescued dogs, cats, birds, and other animals, but it's soooooo cute!

Re: Sea World, Anything like Miami Sea Aq.?

I love Sea World!!! It's a relaxing park with informative & pure excitement rides. I've never been to the Miami Sea aquarium but can't imagine how it could compare to Sea World. If you go please try to go on the space needle. You sit in an air conditioned circular compartment that is ceiling to floor windows and rotates 360 degrees as it goes up & down. You get great views of the park and it's fun to pick out the WDW landmark buildings (on a clear day). Also, if you're there in the summer it's a nice way to cool off and plan the next part of the park to go to.
