Re: What was the last Disney Movie you watched?

I watched "Peter Pan" for the first time since childhood.

Okay, so where did Tinker Bell get the reputation for being cute? She was bratty, jealous, sneaky, spoiled...I love her!!!!!

She tried to kill Wendy, for goodness sake!

Hehehehehe, it's funny that the last Disney film you watched was the Little Mermaid because the last film I watched was Alice in Wonderland. We watched each other's movie icons, hehehe.

Believe it or not, my last Disney I watched was... Song of the South. I watched it over at YouTube.

I recently watched about 1/3 of Pinocchio when it was on TV a few weeks ago, but got distracted and never saw the rest of it. I'm sure I saw it as a child. I know the story, but don't remember the details.

I just watched Alice In Wonderland the other day. And next I'm going to watch either Peter Pan or Sleeping Beauty, haven't decided what I'm in the mood for.

Did you like Disney's AiW? I know this will sound weird coming from me, but I actually didn't like the Disney movie!

I love the Disney AiW drawings for it, though. There's just something about the movie that doesn't work for me.

It's not among my favorites, but it is a part of my collection. I don't watch it that often. But I am curious about the Tim Burton version. I really should get the book and read it for a better comparison.

Re: What was the last Disney Movie you watched?

The book is awesome! Highly recommended. It's such a strange story. I think that is what bothers me about the Disney movie. It's too happy, instead of being more about the absurd, which is in the original book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

BTW, the upcoming Tim Burton film is not Lewis Caroll's original Alice story. The script was written for this movie and is about Alice revisiting Wonderland at the age of 19.

Watched Fantasia - such a mesmerizing movie...although I remember being a bit freaked out when I originally saw it.
