The one in California is not. It was closed to make way for the new Mummy Attraction. I believe the one in Florida is. Try doing a search on Google.

the one in Florida was there a month ago and running with a 90 min wait. haven't been back lately but I guessing its still there. haven't heard any plans to close it in Florida, with the digital remake I think the movies gained some new spotlight time with a younger generation.

Yep from the best of my knowledge it is still there. The wait times on ET can be pretty nasty, I know if I didn't have kids I'd say anything more than a 30 minute wait is a bit much.

Yep..the one out here in Hollywood has been gone for quite some time now.

On June 25th, the new Mummy returns ride will open in it's place.

I was really disappointed with it being closed in hollywood and was disappointed with the amount of rides there.I remember it being better than that in 99.Maybe it was just because i loved ET so much!

Since I love E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial, now I might just visit that E.T. ride whenever I go to Universal Studios. (If there is one.)

In both USF and USH they closed King Kong to put in RotM.
E.T. Adventure was closed in USH to make way for Shrek 4-D.
Meanwhile here in USF, it's still operational.

  12. So, wait I'm confused. What did they replace ET with??? The Mummy Ride or Shrek 4 - D??? Why did they close ET in the first place. I liked that ride. GO up to the person, tell them your name, they give you a card, you give it to the ride operator up front, and at the end of the ride E.T says your name.

    Sorry, you are incorrect.
USF closed the Kong ride, USH closed the E.T. adventure. USH is using that building for Revenge of the Mummy. Shrek 4D is in a new building on the upper level.

duh! i've always wondered why they gave you a card with your name on it at the beginning, now i know but i guess i was too entralled with the ride to noticing et mentioning my name at the end of the ride.
