What are your favorite Christmas Movies and Christmas Specials?

Since it's Christmas time, I chose to post this topic so you can mention what your favorite Christmas Movies and Christmas Specials are. Whatever it is or whatever they are that you like to watch during Christmas time, mention them here.

I absolutely adore the show Noel! It's the little cartoon about an ornament and he talks about his "happiness". It's SOOO cute and I just love it! But they stopped playing it a while ago and I really miss it. Anybody else know what show I'm talking about?

A few of my favorites are: A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown's Christmas, A Christmas Carol (pretty much any version..especially the Muppets Christmas one!), and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the animated version).

As far as movies go: Tie between "A Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Specials: Probably "Rudolph" and of course "Mickey's Christmas Carol"

    WOW! Tough Question!!

"A Christmas Story" is probably my #1 pick! Its just so funny!!

Any version of "A Christmas Carol" is second and includes the Muppet version (love them!!), the version with Patrick Stewart (major crush on him!!), and "Scrooged" with Bill Murry! It's just the best message ever!!

Third is "It's a Wonderful Life". I just love old black and whites! Its lovely!

Honorable mention goes to the National Lampoon Christmas with Chevy Chase! He's one of my faves and I just love all the goofy family members he has! Makes me feel so much better about the screwballs in my family!!

These are mine too. A Christmas Story is a funny and fun holiday movie. It's a Wonderful Life... well, what can I say? Absolute classic. A Christmas Carol is just a great story. I think of the versions of it my favorites are the one with George C. Scott and the older black and white one. Even the muppets one was worth watching. I'm not a big muppets fan, but Michael Cane is a great actor and made a great Scrooge.

I also really liked Home Alone... the first one. The second one was really just more of the first one as many sequels often are. Rudolph was one of my favorites as a kid, along with the other Christmas movies that used that style of animation. I'm not as much into those now, but then back then I wasn't into movies like A Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life.

I pretty much just love all things Christmas. Tomorrow I'll be decorating the tree. Yay!!!
