Fresh ideas for teens at WDW

I just thought we needed a new thread for things for teens to do at WDW.
After talking to one of our members I can see a need to make sure the teens have a little fun.

    Here are a few Tips.

If you have no problem with splitting the family group , letting the teen sleep sleep a little longer can be a big plus. Cell phones can keep the group in contact for the get-togethers.

The Water parks are a blast!

After hour parties at the parks let the teens hit the attractions with smaller lines.

DisneyQuest. You can design your own rollercoaster and then ride it in a simulator.

Watersking. 12 and up is the age limit. You can also go wakeboarding and tubing. (407) 939-0754

Motorboats. ages 12 and up. These can be rented at the Grand Floridian, WL, Contemp.,CB,Coronado Springs, POR, Old Key West, ant DTD.

    Miniature Golf. Nuff said.

Richard Petty Driving School. Teens 16 and up can try the ride along experience

I hope teens and parents that have already gone can add to this list!

Thanks, I will be checking a few of these out for my son. He is quite an active kid and needs to be challenged.

I kind of guessed that, I am seriously thinking the watersking for him as we were already planning a whole day in DTD, so as long as it is still there I can guarantee hours and hours at DisneyQuest. We were also planning to do the Mini golf. I very much appreciate your time and effort. He will be 15 by the time we go, typical teen difficult to please sometimes.

Thanks, I printed out the Page on WDW Recreation Fact/Prices for 07. My son underlined three off that list, the Dolphins is one of them. So I am thinking either that or the one in Epcot will be his Christmas present in addition to the trip itself.

Thank you so much for all your help, you have been a wealth of info.

This stuff all sounds awesome, and would have been really fun for when I was a teen (not that i still didn't) but I've also heard that guest services has maps that kind of direct different groups to their more appealing attractions (like telling parents with preschoolers where to go and teens what rides have the most thrills) although, I admit, I'm not positive about this one

When my son was a teenager he went parasailing at WDW and he also loved the sprite boats. And of course Disney Quest was a must!

1 there is a book called "Hidden Mickeys: A field guide to Walt disneys worlds best kept secrets" It makes looking for the mickeys into a type of scavenger hunt.

We have seen kids running around the parks with the book looking for the mickeys. They all seem to have been having a blast

ex. of a question: in snow whites wild scary adventure find a red classic Mickey in the dwarves laundry. 3 pts

    2. Epcot just opened the Kim Possible Game. Reviews have been good.
