    Re: Best scenery

Not too sure what you mean.

If you mean scenes from the ride:
    Splash Mountain

If you mean props and "set design" for the queue lines:
    Tower of Terror

    Re: Best scenery

Well, if I was going with ride scenes, my favorites would included Peter Pan's Flight, Splash Mountain, Journey to Imagination, and Great Movie Ride.

Here's a different answer. I love the queue area for Kali River Rapids. They brought in artifacts from all over Asia. I never go on this ride, but I often walk through the queue (when it's not crowded) just to look at all the interesting stuff.

You'll be okay in September. We go in October and it is plenty hot enough. For some reason my wife cannot stomach rides that are above a "It's a Small World" level but I talked her into riding this for our second trip and it is now her favorite. It's kind of a running joke around here that each and every time we all get on Kali her and our son get soaked and my daughter and I stay dry (mostly) even if she has her poncho on. LOL

We got soaked on Kali River Rapids and I do agree with Curious Alice. If you are going to ride it you might want to bring an extra change of clothes!

    Re: Best scenery

I think for actually themed scenes it has to be Splash Mountain, for spectacular scenery in a ride for me it has to be Kilimanjaro Safari!

A few years ago, I saw a Travel Channel (I'm pretty sure) show on the making of Animal Kingdom. AK's lead designer, Joe Rohde, talked about how they looked all over Asia for cool artifacts for the queue area. It was really interesting.
