splsh mountain is top notch with the scenery, but Expedadition Everest is just like a trip to Tibet, I haven't done the regular line since it's opening but i really did like it when I did it.

Actually, I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the Gran Fiesta Tour or Malestrom.

Both have some great sections - even if they also have some pretty grim elements (imho).

I always think the Mayan temple at the start of the Gran Fiesta Tour is amazing. Such a shame they then ruin it but hey ho!

    That's a great idea.

I parasailed off the Gulf coast at St Pete Beach years and years ago and loved it - the chance to parasail over WDW (or at least the Contemporary Marina) would be amazing.

These days (now the impetuousness of youth has worn off!), I'm always slightly put off by the thought of something going wrong though - not actually of damaging myself but the cost of getting my broken self back to the UK. Regular travel insurance rarely pays out when you are injured taking part in a "hazardous activity" so medical and repatriation costs would be huge.

I guess parasailing isn't that risky though so hopefully I'll throw caution to the wind and give it a try next time.

We also did a hot air balloon ride over WDW back in 1998. At the time, you could fly over all WDW property except MK (I think 9/11 changed all that). I have some great photos somewhere of Epcot and MGM (as it was then) from 1,000 feet.

By the way, for a similar view without the balloon, parachute or speed boat, try Characters In Flight at DTD. Unfortunately we had a slightly hazy day for it but as you can see from the pics, you get a great view of WDW.
