I've done KttK before. I enjoyed it a lot.

Wanted to do a tour, but I'm afraid I'd know a lot of what they would tell me, so it'd be a waste of money.

I think that could apply to a lot of us. This is Talk Disney after all and there are a LOT of huge Disney fans here.

There is however so much more to a tour than just what a guide tells you.

We did the Keys tour and sure, I knew a lot of it already but there were snippets of new stuff there - more importantly though you get to go backstage and also down into the utilidors.

Same with the Segway tour at Epcot. Not much of what we were told was new but how else can you get to cruise around a completely deserted Epcot on a Segway before the crowds get let in?

Oh - and then there's the unique tour pins you are given afterwards!!

(There are more than 12 tours available, but the poll only allows 12 entries.)
I have taken the following tours:
Around the World at Epcot- I understand the training period, but wish we were in world showcase longer. I want to try the new version.

Backstage Magic- the was a fun all day (8 hours) tour. It was intersting learning how some of the attractions worked. I took the tour on my own, but there were other single people on the tour.

Dolphins in Depth- my sin and I took this tour this past January. It was fun. Little time with the dolphins and I did not like how the group was split. There were 6 of us, 3 pairs of 2. When we got into the dolphin tank, there were 2 instructors. 1 instructor took 1 pair and the other took 2 pairs. I felt the single pair got more time with the dolphin. I felt we spent half our time in the bench while the other pair interacted with the dolphin.

Family Magic Tour- this is a great tour for the whole family. The kids were excited about following the treasure map and finding the hook, while the TG gave great information to the parents.

Keys to the Kingdom- If you want to get to the Magic Kingdom better this is a great tour

Yuletide Fantasy- long tour, traveling to different places. They gave us sweet Rice Krispy treats to snack on, wish they had water on the bus. Love seeing the gingerbread house at GF.

Seas Aqua Tour- I got board quickly in this tour while in the tank.

Wild Animal Safari- love this tour, love getting up close to the animals and being able to pull off the side of the road to see animals.

Off road Segway- this was a fun tour my son and I took this July. I different way to see FW.

We did not get pins on the Dolphins in Depth or the Sea Aqua Tour, we got a photo and a draw string backpack.

Me and my mum did a tour in 1999 at MGM it was around the back stage lots where they used to film, and round some other parts of mgm, we then went into a class room type place and where shown how they painted cells, we were given cells to paint the picture was 2 mickey mouse' one in colour one in black and white, we had to leave them to dry but they were posted to us in England and we still have them, it was a fun tour but they don't seem to do it anymore?! We got free pins too!

Just a heads-up...it sounds like the Segway tour at Epcot is in the process of being canceled

They've already been cancelled with no explanation from Disney.

To keep this thread on topic, a new discussion about the segway tour (or lack of!) can be found here...
